Who We Are & What We Do

Artfolio is a digital art management platform built for galleries, exhibition teams and independent curators. We organize artwork catalogs, exhibition schedules and artist portfolios in one calm, visual workspace — so the work of presenting art stays focused on the art itself.

  • For galleries & institutions Catalog management without the clutter

Track artworks, editions, condition notes and exhibition history in a structured catalog that keeps every piece searchable and ready for the next show.

  • For curators & exhibition teams Exhibition planning from concept to opening

Plan room layouts, schedule installation dates and coordinate loans with a clear timeline that keeps every stakeholder aligned before the doors open.

  • For artists & their representatives Portfolios that tell a visual story

Present work in a narrative sequence with contextual notes, exhibition records and press materials — built to support real conversations with curators and collectors.

  • Our tone Quiet, precise, and practical

We avoid hype and jargon. The platform is designed to feel like a well-organized gallery office: clear, calm and respectful of the work it holds.

The people behind the platform

Our team brings together curators, collection managers and digital strategists who have worked with galleries across Australia and beyond.

Milestones of Artfolio

From a small studio tool to a platform trusted by galleries across Australia — the decisions that shaped our path.

First catalog prototype

We started with a simple spreadsheet and a folder of scanned slides. The first prototype was built to help a local gallery manage its permanent collection without losing track of loaned works.

2019

Exhibition scheduling module

After three trial shows, we added a calendar-based scheduler. Curators could finally see which pieces were available, which were on loan, and when the next installation could begin.

2021

Artist portfolio launch

Artists asked for a way to present their work beyond the catalog. We built a dedicated portfolio view with room for statements, process notes, and high-resolution imagery.

2022

Public exhibition pages

Galleries wanted to share their shows with visitors. We introduced public exhibition pages that mirror the internal schedule, with clean layouts and no extra clutter.

2023

Collection analytics

Our latest release gives collection managers a clear view of their inventory — what is on display, what is in storage, and what needs conservation attention.
